I know you are already at work there, and I pray you would be glorified. I pray for the government and its corruption, for the high crime and poverty rates, and for the racial discrimination taking place there. I pray that your beautiful creation would be protected from those who seek to spoil it. I pray you would send workers to present your word purely, with the Spirit of Truth. May your Spirit pervade all believers and spread the gospel for your glory! Father, I lift up the country of Brazil to you. I know you are already at work there, and I pray you would be glorified. They don't know any different of a life! God, how we pray that you would INTERVENE and show them Your love and Your power to make a new day and a new life, both now and for eternity. May the statue of Jesus be a reminder for the Brazilians that Jesus is close to them, and that there will be a day when He will make everything right again, just like Isaiah 61 says. Come Lord Jesus.
