Despite having very limited natural resources, Israelis have developed thriving agricultural and industrial sectors in less than twenty years. Home to many historically and religiously significant Christian, Muslim, and Jewish sites, the capital city of Jerusalem has been conquered and reconquered for over 3,000 years, which has left the “Old City” quite divided. The capital is not the only partitioned area of Israel, though, as most of the nation still reflects an ancient and violent rift between the Palestinian and Jewish communities that has only deepened through the centuries. Father God,
We lift up YOUR Israel.
I pray for the people there, that peace will overwhelm Jerusalem. That the Jewish people will recognize that Jesus is the Mesiah they so anxiously have been awaiting. That He is the fulfillment of the law and all the old prophets. I pray that both Jew and Muslim will recognize that Jesus is Messiah, the ONLY truth/way, and through His death and ressurection we are saved. Nothing of ourselves, but only His blood, love, and grace. PEACE IN JERUSALEM, FATHER. You are the beginning and end, move in your beloved country.
