• Pray for the love and forgiveness of Jesus to overpower the strongholds of crime, violence, and corruption.

• Pray for government leaders to repent of corruption and seek God's righteousness.

• Pray for empty religious traditions to be replaced by radical discipleship.

The history of Mexico is a tale not only of genius and advancement, but also of darkness and intense spiritual perversion. One need only to look at the ruins dotting the landscape of this country to imagine the great cultures that once inhabited this region. Yet, the reality is, these cultures were steeped in spiritual darkness.

Indeed, this same darkness still encompasses much of Mexico today. It is estimated that only 7 percent of Mexico’s population are evangelical believers, although up to 94 percent claim to be Protestants or Catholics.

Against the backdrop of Mexico’s beautiful people lie the troubles of intense poverty, political corruption and drug trafficking- as well as an increasingly anti-Christian media. This is a nation in need of spiritual breakthroughs.

Pray that God’s people would intercede for this nation, the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world.

Pray that God will raise up men and women filled with zeal for Jesus Christ to preach the gospel in Mexico. Pray that Godly men and women will answer the call to stand in the gap for this nation- so that Jesus would be glorified as the Savior of Mexico.

God I calling out to his people: “Whom shall I send? And who will go out for us?”

Who will answer His call in the same spirit of Isaiah, “Here am I. Send me”?

If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.  - John 14:14
